Time for learning and reflection.

These are completely new and unusually strange times for all of us around the entire world. The global Corona-virus pandemic has closed down entire countries and forced many of us to work from home in order to avoid the spread of the disease.

Working from home has it’s own benefits — you don’t have to spend time to get dressed properly, to commute to work or in any other way “ready” yourself for work. I usually work in my pajamas in the morning , which is very comfy and an easy way for me to start the day.

All of this means, that we have some extra time in our hands — but what should we do with this time?

This is a great opportunity for learning, growth and self-reflection.

If you always wanted to learn to code, play that instrument, read that book or start meditating — now is the perfect time to just go for it. The internet is filled with resources on self-development and you can basically get started any time you want.

Reaching those dreams and making progress requires planning and target setting. Focusing also on how to learn will take you closer to your dream step by step. Time for quieting the mind, reflection and meditation

This forced break is also a great time to stop, quiet your mind and go within. Our normal hectic day-to-day life rarely offers opportunities for a real pause to do so.

However, now many of us are all alone inside our apartments. We can use the quietness and the time to meditate and connect with our inner self . This will be important for the time after the global crisis.

When was the last time you asked these questions from yourself?

  • What is truly important for me? What do I believe in?
  • What is my mission and dream?
  • What are my strengths and weaknesses?
  • How can I help others and myself?

It’s refreshing, isn’t it!

Also something I have found great, is meditation. Getting started is easy with good headphones and guided meditations for YouTube — for example this one.

We will get through these times — together. I would like to share this poem with you:
